Watersports Co. founder Andy Zimmerman who pledges $150,000 gift
to support NAWT’s full-time operations for two years. Al
agrees to take leave from the Board to serve as full-time Executive
Director for two years to guide and grow the organization.

Al co-authors funding proposal in support of developing the Occoquan
Water Trail which is submitted; $100,000 grant request is approved
in full. Work on fulfillment of the project deliverables begins
